Financial Aid
Manitoba Student Aid
Administered by Manitoba's Department of Advanced Education and Literacy, the Student Aid office helps eligible Manitoba residents with the cost of their post-secondary education. Whether planning to attend a college, university, university-college, public institute or private training school, students have access to loans, grants and bursaries.
Manitoba's student financial programs are need-based, providing assistance when students and their immediate families do not have the resources to meet the costs of full- or part-time education and basic living expenses. However, assistance designed for special student groups is also available.
The Student Aid office administers programs on behalf of the Government of Manitoba and of Canada, including Canada Student Loans, Canada Study Grants, Canada Access Grants and awards from the Millennium Scholarship Foundation.
